Wait a minute, Ray! After watching that, I think you and some of the people here might be jumping to a false conclusion about this poor young man's intentions! How do you know for sure that that "poor young man" wasn't an american kid over there(I'd actually be surprised if he WASN'T) on that little island o' yours situated off the european continent, and was maybe on vacation...err...HOLIDAY, or somethin', and yes, though he appears to be jaywalking here(there's certaining no excuse for THAT) he was just minding his own business and forgot that you guys drive on the wrong....err...left side of the road, and thus expected that car to go past him on the right(also known as correct) side of him. Ya see?! If you guys over there would just "get with the program" and drive on the side of the road that the good Lord intended people to drive on, occurances like this sad incidence could possibly be greatly reduced in number!!! Then, you guys wouldn't have to paint all those "Look Left and Look Right Notices" on the curbs of London street corners.(there's a cost saving for you guys RIGHT THERE!!!) (if I'm wrong in my "theory" about this "poor young man's" intentions, it's because there was no sound coming out of my computer when I viewed this thing....It's just that I like to keep an open mind about stuff, ya know)

I have to agree Dwight, he just could be on vacation here in the UK, but we keep telling you to watch out for those cages, I think this applies to J walkers as well. Even though J walking is not illegal in the UK, you take a big chance crossing the road.

He's lucky he was not from Minnesota or Wisconsin, we shoot dumb wounded animals who wander in front of cars to put them out of their misery! Now, I suspect highly that is not politically correct but this kid should get stuffed and so should the guy for putting it on the net. They should both be charged. But then again maybe it's that "natural selection" theory....?

Yeah, that hurts. I was crossing the street in Japan and got hit by a drunk driver. Not so much fun. Too bad nobody was there to video tape it. I lost both my shoes, I see this kid only got one knocked off. Wuss.

Well, you know the old joke about that, don't cha Mark?
It's either a Pomey or a Yank(take your pick), and they fly into the Sydney Airport and they're goin' through Australian Customs, and the Customs Officer says to the newly arrived visitor, "Welcome to Australia, Sir! I've got ta ask ya a few questions. First: 'ave ya ever been convicted of a crime in your 'ome country?"

(BTW...the sound has gone out on my computer, and so I could only watch, but not hear this video....BUT, the wife just bought a brand new one at Costco, and so I'll be able to once again hear all those "funny accents" around here REALLY SOON...as soon as she[she's better than I am at this stuff] can fire that puppy up!)

Hey Dwight, talking of crazy people.
Some one asked me where i was from once and I told them England. They then asked, "Did you have to cross the ocean to get here" Took me a while to compose myself before i answered that one.
And better still. I was being interviewed here for a job selling furniture in a locally owned furniture store. The manager was interviewing me and everything was going really well and at the end of the interview the manager told me he was very impressed at how well I had learned the language. Probably should have kept quite but I had to tell him that for the most part people from England tend to speak English. Needless to say i didnt get the job.

Ok so now I am sounding like and Old man and not an 18 year old!
Trust me, I never hung out a 6 story window by my finger tips, that would be...stupid. I would never jump over a water fall of a raging river, I would never go up to a 6'5" 250 lbs guy holding a full bottle of Miller and say "If you think your bad enough, go for it". (Once again I would like to thank "Gabby" for the nice scare over my left eye the dog gone hayseed)
I would never Stand up on the seat of a moving motorcycle...that does not count, I was 34 when I did that...clearly these would be more "stupider" than I am capable of.
No Marines never do anything dumb and the Marines never had an influence on me!
Guess I need to re-think...where I have walked!

Kids today just don't have enough to do. When I was his age, I was too busy working and riding my motorcycle to dream up stupid ways to get hurt.
