Here in SA we lane split big time so it is not uncommon to see a bike coming down the centre of two lanes of traffic. So I get quite Irritated when I see a car intentionally going out of it’s way to block the opening and path of a biker.

Happens in Oz too. What gets me irate??? There has been a big upsurge in the sale of scooters in Perth and every time I want to go into the city these things are taking up not only the few places that the council provide but they park so badly you end up with 5 scooters in an area that you'd usually see 6 full size bikes in.
...yes, that is a single seat...no, I will not put the other seat on...yes, I am selfish...yes, you should buy your own bike

Blackpool has only one designated bike parking space as I know right in the town centre.
Last week I went into Fleetwood town centre and was told there are no designated parking spaces as children burn their fingers on the exhausts. Now that got me irate, I asked so why do their parents let them touch the bikes in the first place..

Spot on! where is their duty of care...and surely a car exhaust cooks as much skin as a bike exhaust.

I looked up the law in jersey- it says, literally, "issue not addressed" I take this to mean a cop could ticket you if he feels like it, and catches you doing it. What irritates me is when cagers use the space around you but in your lane, just because you are not taking up the whole space a cage would. some dufus did it just this morning.... G
I never wanted to lead, and I never wanted to follow.
I just wanted to ride.

Ah, someone finally guessed the official motto of The Mighty Moderator Corpsâ„¢.
What irritates me? Cagers. Worse, cagers with cell phones. Annoys me whether I'm in my car or on the bike. And with all the big trucks around here and me in my little VW, they're nearly as life-threatening when I'm in the cage.

Oooh, cell phones in motion...now there's a rant that deserves it's own thread!

Because there is not a sign on your pipes saying "Caution, Pipes May Be Hot, Keep Little Fingers Away".
Honestly, why would you ask such a question Parents dont have to be responsible for there children actions any more. Didnt you know that.

A guy talking on a cell phone, no surprise, pulled out in front of Bill the other night....he couldn't avoid hitting the car with his sidecar, bike tipped way up to the left, apparently he kind of rode up on the car- YIKES!!... fortunately didn't tip....When they stopped, the guy looks at Bill (while still on the phone) and says "What are you doing??!!" Cop said Bill was at fault (even though he had right of way) as he is "supposed to have control of his vehicle at all times".

I get irritated by being called a jobs worth cos I won't let the smoke on a train/platform - it's aginast the law... or that I won't let them sit in first class cos they are sitting next to a bloke who's spent £220 to sit there, but they've spent a fiver... or .......... because I won't let them do what they want to, mainly cos they are just irritating me!

What irritates me the most....hmmmm 1. Bureacracy....mindless, idiotic, devotion to inefficiency is all it is. Bureacracy now exists throughout the American main stream. It sucks. I hate it and all those who think its great or is of value. 2. Modern Quality systems/ Why? See number one. During WW2 The USA built many thousands of aircraft, tanks, ships, jeeps, submarines and bombs, bullets and materials of all types. In very short order. No one in the world could make as much as fast or as efficiently as we could then. FAST FORWARD some sixty years later. It takes three to four years to build one FREAKING submarine. Bureacracy sucks. 3. Political Correctness/ Its for pussies and losers and it too is endemic in our society. Enough said there I guess. Its of no value and breeds weakness and tolerance for those who deserve no respect or correctness of any kind. Rant off. Now I feel much better. Thank You.

I would never call you a Jobs Worth person. But, im sure British Rail or what ever they are called now have plenty of them on the payroll.
I am more irrated by people who use the term "its more than my jobs worth" when telling you something.

Dave, Being able to lane-split in California, every once in a while a cager appears to perform that very same manuever to me also. After I rev the engine a few times they usually move over a bit so I can get past them. I also usually mutter to myself for a second until I remember that for every one of these people who I have to assume are envious that I'm going to get to where I want to go WAY BEFORE they do, that there are at least 20 other cagers on that road who see me coming up through traffic and actually move over a bit in their lane and give me a little extra space to get by them. I say, try to remember that as much as you can. Now...what irritates me??? Stupifyingly mindless television political ads paid for by every candidate REGARDLESS of their political party affiliation that seem to start nowdays one freakin' year BEFORE every election that INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE!!!!!!!!!!![note: ALL OF THEM DO, REGARDLESS OF WHEN THEY'RE TELECAST] (other than THAT, not much else really)

1. People who don't pay any attention to anything. 2. TV ads with people saying 'fact'. 3. TV ads/shows where they suddenly speed up and then slow down moving vehicles or critters. 4. Lieing ****** politicians. 5. Lieing ****** salesmen. 6. People who mistreat pets. 7. Political correcting chat sites that won't let you say a-r-s-e.

Okay! I've thought o' one more.(man...this thing can get kind'a addictive, huh?!)
The act of contrition not being exhibited by so many people out there today(must have gone out o' style or somethin'), and especially out there on the road.
I ask you people....How many times have YOU encountered another driver who makes a boneheaded manuever, and yet(and you know what's coming here, don't cha?) YOU'RE the idiot in their eyes???!!!
(somebody 'splain THAT to me, please)

It depends on my mood. Somedays everything irritates me and other days it takes alot to irritate me.
Things that irritate me: Laws to protect us from our shelves. PETA people and vegetarians that get in your face about food. really loud base music from another car.

IN PA you can go up the shoulder in heavy traffic to avoid overheating. Have to do it safely though so you don't get wreckless driving.

People who think their basic rights impose an obligation on their neighbors to do more than simply tolerate them.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
