I love them, I've been looking at them for a while now, when Brent came out with those adaptors I figured, well I guess nows the time. Now that I got them on and working I think it was a good call on my part.

Nice, can you see the light flashing from the riders side?

No, the only thing you can see from the riders side is mirror.

Mirrors and signals both look great, that's vast improvement over mouse ears and pumpkins! Good work.

the first thing that jumps at me is how much cleaner the front looks without those UGLY turn signals there, i kinda looked for clear lens and yellow lamps for my bike, got side-tracked, .....i put kuyrakyn mirrors like yours, in addition to tuun-signals[clear lens, running lamp]....my mirrors vibrated so badly, not clear behind???? was'nt sure why, weight about even with stock yamaha mirrors. please post if you have any problems, as i was leary of putting any on BA. i did replace "parts bin" stock triumph mirrors with those off v-star, did'nt like small round factories.

my previous post was un-clear, i had put those kuyrakyn mirrors on a v-star 1100, factory mirrors did not vibrate on that bike, kuyrakyns did

Churchkey- They are bright, just got back from a short ride to the store (it's dark outside here) and I could see the turn signals lighting the pavement infront of me.

Fatrat- I mounted them using Brents universal mirror adaptors that come with an O-ring to lessen any vibration. On my short ride just now it wasn't any worse than stock but I'll get back to you after I hit the highway tomorrow.

I like those mirrors a lot. I was thinking about getting a pair of them before I decided to go with the LEDs that I have. Part of the the decision was money, partly there werent adapters out there yet and the other was that nobody had done what I did. But, they look GREAT on your bike!

Thanks! They were a bit on the expensive side but I wanted to put new turn signals and mirrors on the front, I priced them out seperatley hoping to save a little and for what I wanted it would have been close to the same price so I went with what I had my eye on for a while and I love the way it turned out. Really cleaned up the front.

They do really clean up the front.

How was it wiring it up?
I looked at the Kuryakyn site and seems most of those mirrors say 'not recommended for buckhorn type bars'.

T - Did you go with the flat or convex glass? Any reason why you went with what you did? Any regrets?

Nice...I like it. I was wondering how those would look on the bike.
Hows the viewing area? Better / Worse?

Wiring was simple as could be, there are three wires that go the turn signal to give you two different options, one you can use them as running lights and trun signals the other just as turn signals. I went with just the turn signals which was the red and white wires to the positive turn signal lead and the black to the negative lead. Once that was done you have to put in the load equilizer which is a very simple splice in to the rear turn signal wires, all the items you need for this were included with the mirrors.

I went with the flat glass because it was what I was used to, I didn't want to spend the money on something I wasn't too sure about. I don't really have a frame of reference on which is better but the flat glass is fine with me

The viewing area is a little different than what I'm used to, it's longer and thinner which gives you more picture out to the sides and being thinner you don't really lose any useable view up and down.

I got them on the highway and here's my review of them at speed...
Up to about 70-75 they are a little bit shakier than stock but still very clear.
Above 75 they start to get a bit shakier but up to 100 (it was for testing purposes) I never lost a clear picture of anything that was close enough behind to be a concern. The images did get fuzzy but I could still tell if it was a car or truck, how far behind me it was, relatively how fast it was going, all the things you need to know to keep your self safe.

They look good, and as long as you have a clear view of what is sneeking up on you, you should be alright..

Thanks for giving us a review of them, Tim.

At 100mph i'm not too worried about how clear the images 'behind me' are in the mirror anyway!
If they're flashing red lights, well....
