After missing 5 weeks of summer riding due to work in the Artic Circle I have returned home and finished the custom work I wanted to do on my America. Thanks to all the members who have helped me along the way especially triumph detroit.

She's a bit dirty in the pics. I just finished a 2400 kilometre drive from Ottawa to Newfoundland.

Looking good Josh, like the pipes, remind me of the reverse cone mega's I have in the garage off my T140E.

Great looking bike. Do the floorboards make it awkward to lift the kickstand ?
just realised, they lift up don't they ?

Hi Brummie
they do make it a little more difficult, but you do get used to it.

The stand does hide under the floorboards a little but at 6' I have no trouble reaching the stand. The floor boards do turn up but only about 30 to 45 degrees.
Never did anything to the wheels Angelis they are as I bought the bike. Stock.
I wanted black pipes but couldn't find any with the sound I wanted. Now brent has a set of black D&Ds after I just bought these. Doh!

Are those streetboogie's dual headlights or your own fabrication?

Are the twin headlights any good at night? Better or worse than the stock single headlight? One guy I know with the Speedtriple took his off and went for the aftermarket single headlight because he said the twin headlights weren't very good at night.Curious.

The only night riding I have done is around downtown Ottawa. Everything is so well lit I wouldn't have noticed. I may not be a good one to judge. But from what I have seen they appeared to be brighter then the stock headlight.
