Uhh.. you can't photoshop a video. You could do editing in some kind of ultra fancy digital editing, but not that good unless you are Lucas or Pixar. Plus... the first biker does turns his head to see what just jumped in front of him.

It's almost funn how everyone is suddenly assuming everything that is even slightly unusual has been photochopped somehow.

Last fall I had a deer jump over the hood of my Jeep while doing about 60 mph. Scared the ****** out of it, literally. There was a big splash on my windshield and then I smelt a foul odor.

That doesn't mean a thing. I've seen deer jump out like that before and you just don't see it coming. There's no time to hit the brakes.

If that's a composite, it's some really nice work on the deer's shadow.

Almost as bad as a big red roo coming at you. We hit an 8 footer out the back of Bourke. (read middle of nowhere) and got him mid bounce. Totalled the front of the car.
Up here the biggest problems are the little wallabies getting rolled by semis then you come around the corner and there are 20 large hawks feeding off it. I have nearly caught a few of them just after they took off. Made me slow down to 120!!!!
I hit a Willy Willy (dust devil?) outback, it was coming down the road and I didn't see it. Now THAT was scary. The whole bike was battered but I stayed on.

Holy Crap! It took me until the second slow motion before I realised that there was a guy in the left lane. I don't care if it was to the back that the deer jumped it still made that guy duck. I would deffinatley have to stop and clean myself up after that.

Right you are Feral about Hawks & Roadkill, I've had a hawk swerve & clip my helmet @ 70mph nearly knocked me off my bike between Hughenden & Richmond, but the biggest fright I ever got was out at Brittarmart Reef off Ingham in a 18ft Haines - crusing along at 30knots when a humoungous Manta Ray (bout 6 ft across) flew right over our boat, quitened everyone down for a few minutes, I can tell ya.

Yeah, you can see the shadow of the deer to the rear of the bike, even allowing for the angle of the shadows, it was to the back .... that said, the guy must've seen it in his peripheral view and started chewing the seat!!

Lucky for him too that the animal didn't demonstrate the normal animal response to fear as he went overhead

I'd have gone right out and put on a lottery ticket!!

I'm just glad the deer around here prefer to stare dumbly from the side instead of dashing out like their ****** is on fire. I've see plenty of them stop mid-road and leap just like that as if the center line were some sort of barrier...must be a deer thing.

Yeah?! You guys think you've got it bad???!!!

Just last month, I was ridin' the BA down Hollywood Blvd, and right around where Grauman's Chinese Theatre is, three hookers, two pimps, and a guy in a Spiderman outfit suddenly and without warning jumped off the curb and right out in front o' me!!!

But thanks to my skillful experience on these motorcycles (forty continuous years and counting), I only clipped one of the pimps, and only very mildly I might add!

Lucky for me his concealed 9mm semi-auto fell out of his waistband and onto the ground where he was momentarily unable to retrieve it, and I was able to continue my ride without further incident towards Santa Monica and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
