There a guy riding around my town with crazy ape hangers like this. Every time I see him I wonder if he's actually touching the seat because it looks like he's hanging from them...

The more I look at it, I think it is (the bars & left hand don't quite seem to "match" the rest).
But, as I mentioned in my post there is a guy riding around my town that doesn't look that much different than this. One of these days I'll get a photo of him.

Look at the rear window of the SUV between the bars, different reflection. Look at the pipes, the bike is reflected near the fender and then nothing until you get up to the clamp. Still, the overlay work is impressive and slightly above my pay grade...the left forearm stretch...well, it's blurred and IMO that's the give away.

Man, the stretched pipes are good unless you stare at them, the arms...not so much. Kinda reminds me of a "Big Daddy" Ed Roth cartoon...

There is no reflection of the bike in the SUV behind it. What you're seeing is the reflection of something, the dash probably, inside the vehicle in which the picture is being taken. You can see the line extend off the SUV down onto the side mirror of the "host" vehicle. Besides, there's no way from the photographers POV that the bike could reflect in the back window of the other SUV. It's just not possible. The angles are all wrong.
And as far as the bike reflection in the pipes, the fender CURVES AWAY from the pipes. From the POV of the photographer, the rear fender couldn't reflect all the way up the pipes.

I rekon its got a suicide shifter, and a foot clutch. No clutch cable or lever on the bars, and look at the shifter linkage. It doesnt go to the footboard. Either way, the guy's a spanker...

Isn't the jockey shifter that faucet knob just over the rear of the primary cover?

When you take the motion blur out of the picture you see more. Look at his reflection in the SUV side window!

Have to agree that it's Photoshopped, OR this guy can stand straight upright and scratch his kneecaps without bending! His forearms are either abnormally long OR he is proof that Darwin is right and we descended from Apes...

I don't know...I'm no Photoshop expert...and there are certainly MANY who are better than I at it (I have a hard time with the red eye thingie..perhaps I should get the full version someday) but...
I do have a bit of knowlege on perspective and such... the arm looks wrong because of the angle of the photog and the angle of the bike in relation to the photog...the bars have a slight V shape which is consistent and un-flawed the light reflection in those bars is spot on for their position at all locations...the reflection between the bars on the SUV window is of the upper trees on the side of the road as it should be...the fender curves away (and has already been pointed out) the only area that even remotely looks "cloned" is the very end of the tastles on the left hand side...and having spent such a huge ammount of time to get the minutest detail possible correct in all other areas just to rush the final bit seems, a bit insane to me...

Here's my take on it: the author is very good, even removed the metadata tags from the file, but have a look at the helmet thru the see-thru left forearm: and the much larger pixels under the right pit...it's a good Photoshop job by an expert

Well....if its real the rider is a moron.
So I have to assume its a photoshop gag.
No one with any real grey matter would ride around that grossly hindered in terms of riding/handling et al.
Just cannot imagine anyone stupid enough to ride with ape hangers that HIGH and his feet up on the highway pegs in what seems to be fairly heavy traffic.

Actually Ed, I was thinking that the ergonomic factor of this "beauty" here would favor the dude in the picture which was taken up near where Soren lives! But, I'll bet because that "very cool" H-D here is probably this dudes "pride and joy", I doubt seriously that he'd part with his "masterpiece of engineering"!!! (poor Bigfoot...destined to walk the Cascades on his big feet forever, and never to feel how "cool" riding something this "cool" will feel)

In reality no state in the union allows a two wheel vehicle with bars that high anyway do they.?
You would get a ticket in very short order by the first LEO who sees you.
