After seeing Andy at the Big Day Out, and realising we've got nothing else planned, anyone got any thoughts?

I could organise a run Oop North, if anyone is interested say around the Lake District. Taking in:-
1. Devils Bridge (meeting place for those from further Oop North.
2. Windermere for Lunch
3. Kirkstone Pass
4. Keswick
5 Grasmere
6. Ambleside
7. Hawkshead
8. Catch ferry back to Windermere about £3.00 I think
9. Then either go home or back to our gaf for food.
Just need to arrange times dates etc if anyone fancies, if we do this as a continous run it will take a couple of hours . This is from Windermere and not from the M55. so I should imagine it would have to be an early meet up.

Well we could have a coffee at the Hartside, probably stick another 1 1/2 - 2 hours on though.
Follow Kirkstone Pass through to Penrith then up to the Hartside and then back down again.

I agree Dave, most of what is happening seems to be down South. Will have to move, should I inform the mrs

I was talking to shaun about rallies at the Bulldog and its unlikely we will do the farmyard next year as we have done it 2 years running, but if enough people were up for it maybe we could find a couple of smaller ones more central next year, so no one has to ride 300+ miles to get there. I appreciate not everyone likes roughing it in tents though, would be nice to meet a few more people of this forum as well... what do people think ? Dave

I will be in Canada next year instead of the Farmyard, just happens to fall usually around June 13th and I will be attending Friday 13th @ Port Dover.
But I know what you mean Dave, but I think we should arrange something which is roundabout central to everybody, that way people can come from Oop North and Down South. It does not have to be a rally just a big meet somewhere either camping or B+B or Bunkhouse..

You mean Hawes greg, unfortunately Hawes chip shop is a nice long ride from Windermere, but the fish N' Chips are worth it

Have texted Jane to let her know, as she is basking in the sun in Cornwall. She doesn't know what she is working that weekend yet, but will check when she gets back.
