Are any of the members here bidding on the red flame factory paint set on ebay at Kissel motor sports? ebay tank and fender I do not need to bid if it is a member here . if not , I will be bidding ,

We know you want it for your collection, go ahead...it's calling you isn't it? I can hear it from here, "Pete, buy me...Pete, buy me..."; it's like the call of the Lorlei except instead of crashing on the rocks and sinking you'll be holding another (!) beautiful tank. Can't think of a nicer place for it to end up...

Why do they call it a Paint Kit? It does include the tank and fender, right? If so, is it both fenders?

The Factory Flame paint kit is the tank and just the front mudguard/fender.
Why call it a paint kit.... dunno. It just is.

I always thought it was a British thing, the way an elevator is a lift, a car hood is a bonnet, a fender is a wing and sausages and mashed potatoes are bangers and mash.

I suppose it's because it's a tank and a mudguard with a paint job. So really it should be a paint job kit...
