Hello All... Bought my first bike, a 2005 America and I thought I would check out your site. Also went to my first rat pack breakfast last week in Oregon... Love the bike, as a new cyclist I don't have much to compare performance with but I sure enjoy riding it. I hope to learn from the rest of you about future events and basic Triumph wisdom. Alex

Basic Triumph wisdom #1 - In any group, nobody will have a cooler bike than you. Unless it's a group of Triumph owners, then all bets are off...

Warning! In the coming weeks, you're going to see a lot of posts from this salty lot exclaiming that they've got to get the new Triumph 1500cc mystery cruiser.
Fear not, new owner, regardless of the new creation rolling off the line in Hinckley ( or Thailand ) you already own the best bike out there.

Hey Alex! Welcome! It was good meeting you last Saturday! You guys should see this bike. It's very nice. It is a mulbury America. He bought it second hand. It looks like the previous owner picked up one of everything from Brent.

Hope you can make it up to Chehalis for lunch on the 25th. http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...ge=0#Post234041

There's a club? Why wasn't I told? Is there a secret handshake too?

Yes there is. You can practice on your own for when you next meet up with any other 'club members'

Stand with your legs apart. Now touch your toes and look between your legs and wave

Soren, I checked out the accessory site... I can't believe how much the prior owner spent on some of those gadgets. Over a fifteen hundred not including the factory adds like the windscreen, tach., knee pads two tone paint etc. I think I will be removing a few and moving the clock and thermometer to the center rather than out near the grips... Though,I will probably add floorboards. When is the ride to Centralia. The longest ride I've taken yet included a lunch at Sowerby's before arriving at the Do Wa Diddy cruise-in a few weeks ago. I have nothing against Harley riders or bikes but the folks at the cruise in were not "my" people... Alex

The ride to Chehalis is the 25th. Meet at the shop at 10:00, or meet us at Sowerby's at 1:00.

That goes against the idea of a secret society, doesn't it?
