So I am cruizin down Colorado Blvd and come to an intersection at 6th, headin south. Cager heading north on the green decides to take a left right in front of me, leaving me to lock up the rear. Angry, I follow the cager, all the while screamin all kinds of unmentionable things his way. He slams his brakes a few times, the last time causing me to hit his rear end at about 5 miles per hour. No damage done. The man-child gets out of his car and apologises. he is on his cell calling the man, supposedly, I pull over, he takes off. After the fact, I am sorry I even followed the guy. I have never gone off on someone before and despite his bonehead move, had no pre-cursor to do so now, I have been a part of much worse injustice... What has this demon Triumph wrought?

Not that what you did was right but the other guy/kid sounds like a jacklick. Let it go and try not to do it again.
I chased a guy down for tailgating (really, really close) Karen shortly after I got the bike. Really dumb move since he was in a Ford F250 and I was on my relly cool looking TBA. I just keep my cool as best as I can and move on. IM not proud of it but I did and and I know it was the wrong choice.

I just seem to give them the eye, because most of these cagers don't even know that they have done anything wrong. But I just expect the unexpected these days

I'm over this rage crap, its an angry young mans game. In Perth W.A. a truck driver and his brother are looking at time inside after they allegedly jumped a motorist, smashing all the windows in the car injuring a 2 year old child. The child has now had plastic surgery...was it worth it??? Of course not. They're never worth the effort. If its serious remember the plate and let the man sort it out. Of course you can always follow them home at a discrete distance and come back at a later date to adjust the vehicle...not that I recommend this

It's hard to let it go sometimes... Was in the left turn lane with blinker on waiting for an opening- had a green light. Dude in a Honda Accord come ripping up behind me and turns left BEHIND me through the intersection like I wasn't there. I caught him at the next light and politely asked him if he even saw me- to which he thumped his cig into my chest and proceeded to roll up the window... The rest is not worth repeating.

Well put.
New Jersey has just about the most crowded roads anywhere with drivers that take pride in assertive or aggressive driving.
It's SO easy to lose your cool on a bike and flip out on a bad driver. But that just makes us riders look bad on the whole. Drivers that didn't witness the transgression but see only your rage will think YOU are the jerk.
Best advise, pull over if needed and cool off. It ain't worth the aggravation. Ride safe.

Unless the other driver hits you, with witnesses willing to testify, the cops won't do anything. In my experience they won't do anything even if they witness what happened. They are only there to notify the next of kin and arrange for the wreck to be towed. Expecting them to enforce the laws of the road, when it is the least bit inconvenient for them, is like expecting them to do something about home invaders in your house. If you’re not willing to deal with it yourself it won’t happen, certainly not in time to do you any good. The only reason to involve them is when it’s required to file an insurance claim.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Some times its totally accidental. People just drive and are encompassed in a world of thoughts with family, work or what ever. They know where theyre going and thats all they do is drive. Sometimes not even remembering what happened in between. Its up to us to be extra careful because most cagers wont. And as for chasing people down..........be careful! To many wackos carry guns!!

I always ask myself , Do I Want To Be Right Or Do I Want To Be Happy?
One night many years ago, driving home (in my car) late, 2 AM, after an AA meeting and then out dancing with friends- I was faily newly sober, and still a bit....volatile, let's say...A guy pulled out fast in front of me from a side road....I honked and gave him the finger.....he pulled over and then got behind me, pulling up close, then trying to pass, then pulling back, pulling up, etc. Dark secondary roads, no houses- I got pretty scared. Finally came up to a light with a car stopped at the red in front of me, I jumped out of my car and ran to the car in front of me yelling for help...The scary guy then blasted by both of our cars, running the red, blasting the horn and swearing his head off at me.
I just had to shake my head at myself- here I was coming from getting my "serenity" at a meeting, and I'd stupidly provoked a gorilla. I've never given anyone the finger since.

My philosophy: If you've missed hitting the person who has just cluelessly and in most cases, unintentionally has tried to "take you out of circulation", even by a inch, just shake your head from side to side in a paternal manner(you people remember when your Mom or Pop did that don't cha?! How did you feel?! You didn't "flip them off, did ya?) at the inattentive cager, and they usually get the message that they should "maybe" be juuuuust a little more observant out there.
I find this course of action a little more conducive to a "meeting of the minds".
I used to follow 'em and give 'em a piece of my mind(that's why there's sooooo much less of it nowdays...my mind, that is), but I've grown up a little since then.
BTW, if they hits cha? Sue the crap out o' 'em. That's what lawyers are for!
(I know, I know, this isn't the most "macho" course, but I've found it much more effective in the long run)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
