I am researching the availability of aftermarket mods for a Bonny.

I want to use the bike both for short city trips and some highway work. I would like to use the bike when I visit clients, and therefore I need storage for laptop, client files and supporting paperwork in addition to my cycle pump, touring first aid kit, flares, and more. ( Remember, I am used to the BMW system of preparation "just in case").

Is there an after market euro-cut windshield available for the Bonny? What are you people using for longer rides on the highway in order to decrease buffeting?

Topcases?

Saddle cases?

Tank bags?

Anyone using a Zumo 550 with XM and Bluetooth?

Am I asking too much from the Bonny with the addition of all this gear?

Thank you in advance for your help and I appreciate you helping me with my research.

ps. There is a Brit Bike Rally in Wisconsin very soon. But the organisers made it clear that one has to show on a Brit Bike or he/she is not welcome. Is this the prevailing attitude of the Brit Bike world? Gee whiz, at the BMW National, we welcome everyone who is on two wheels with an engine--even the lowly H-D's! Kinda threw me for a loop, if you know I mean.

Groups like the Brit Iron Rebels are like that. They don't even want us around on our cruiser version of their Bonnevilles. If you ask any of them in person they'll deny it but just try and e-mail them through their web site.

There were plenty of different bikes at the Kootenay Raid and that was an official Triumph event. Saw Suzukis, Moto Guzzis, Harleys, etc. Granted, not a lot of them, but they weren't turned away.
