Mark, see what you think about this route

Starting point Amesville, CT is around 1,000 feet from Toymakers.
Figure two hours From Toymakers to Southfield, MA / route 272.
It affords two waterfall views and a few places to stop for a cool soft drink if so desired.

Looks Good
I did most of this ride a few weeks ago.
Great back roads
From New Marlborough we can run secondary roads back to the Canaan area.

John,
This will be my last chance to return your big socket to you.
Be at Toymakers @ 10:00, or you'll never see it alive again!

Sure hope you can make it.
Gonna miss riding to The NE Rally w/you,
Uncle Charlie

Martin

PM me your number. If I head out there I'll ring you in the A.M. when I'm on the road. I know the area well. My daughter goes to camp Isola Bella which is right on Twin Lakes. We always go out the Pike to exit 2 and then down through Stockbridge and Great Barrington. I'll sleep on it tonight. Just not sure if I want to do 4-5 hours myself on top of the rest of the ride.

My mind and body are still out of tune I hope they run into each other real soon "

What a great day!

MIke from TRAT(on his Tiger) met me at 08:30 in Norwalk,
and we took the scenic route to Toymakers. There we met
Bucky(and Carla), Matt, and Jonathan. They had breakfast,
and my order got misplaced. So, I went hungry.

Martin(Bucky) took us on a nice ride through the foothills
of the Berkshires, stopping at 2 waterfalls to hang out.
Great Falls in Falls Village, and Bash Bish falls on the
NY/Mass border. The weather was picture perfect! And, I'm
sure a good time was had by all.

Now, what to do tomorrow?????
Uncle Charlie

Hey Charlie, sorry for blasting past you guys, but the old back had enough for the day. It was a great day for riding for sure.

Yes Matt, Erwin was at Tech Day II.
No prob w/the blasting by, I coulda take'n ya if I wanted to!

Funny thing,
My buddy that I called from Bash Bish Falls(love say'n that),
and his son, were following us down 22 in their p/u's!
I saw the p/u my friend Pete was driving with a load of
firewood in the back, and I thought to myself: I don't
wanna be behind that thing. Didn't realise it was him.

Anyhoo,
Matt, you owe me a buck, and I'm looking forward to more rides.

I miss Big Poppy already,
Uncle Charlie

I'm just glad I didn't have to give CPR to Martin after he
climbed back up from the falls. My galley faucet leaks more
than that thing was flowing!

A good time,
Uncle Charlie
