Just got through watching Jeopardy ~~ this week it is the "celebrity" tournament. Could somebody please explain to me how people so dumb can get to be so famous? It is a good thing that they are good at something ~~ because they sure aren't good at Jeopardy. I lost all respect for the lady in Law and Order: Criminal Intent. What she did tonight was criminal.

Yeah, but get them talking politics or global warming and we treat them as if they are experts.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Celebrity Jeopardy I've been watching these skits for years... so true
Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

And what's REALLY funny, Rob, is that the questions(err...on Jeopardy I guess they're answers, huh?!) are REALLY dumbed-down for the celebrity version TOO!!!
(I could be wrong here, but it seems to me that the Jeopardy's Kiddie Tournament's questions are harder, Dude!!!)
Of all these overpaid Yo-yos I've ever watched on the celebrity version of the quiz show over the years, the ONLY guy who has ever impressed me with his command of knowledge and facts is Bob Costas. But then again that really didn't surprise me none, because if you've ever watched him on TV over the years interview anyone involved in almost any field of endevor, Mr. Costas always seems to be well versed in that person's field and asks insightful question of them, along with some very good follow-up questions.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
