It was wild. I know the one guy Don. No one was killed thankfully. Don was out of the hospital the next morning and the other guy that went to the hospital was out the day after. I was about 20' away from where they got hit and saw it happen. The DJ who was up behind where I was was touching a metal table and it blew his watch off his wrist. Scary stuff to be sure!

He was drunk later that evening after he was out of the hospital too. Cruising around in his golf cart just having a good ol' time!

I guess he's pretty happy it got the zipper and not his "lightnin' rod" It must not be "conductive" anymore.

My ex father in law has been struck twice. He can no longer wear a wrist watch, for they stop running on his wrist after a short while.

My best riding bud's 13 year old daughter was standing barefoot in a puddle and lightning hit her on the side of her left foot . It mangled it , but she's alive . Looks like she was in a wreck , but she limps on and refuses to let it be amputated .

Couple years ago a man and son were brought into the hospital after a lightening strike. Both lived, no long term physical effects. I did hear that the man has had a slight change in personality. One of the sad after effects with some head traumas and lightening strikes, it "re-wires" your head so to speak. Your not the same person anymore.
