After some suggestions to wrap electrical wiring at the handlebars, rather than the basic electric tape (that's what we call it in OZ anyway).

If you mean - secure the handlebar control switch wiring loom to the bars then just neatly zip tie. Hoffo

If you're trying to loom the wires together they'll fit snuggly inside a 1/2" section of black vinyl tubing which you can finish with a section of heat shrink tubing for a clean look.

I used the woven stainless tubing and used a zip tie that is just inside the bars.

A mate suggested something called 'spaghetti' which I think is like spiral wrapping.
Has anyone used something like that?

Maybe this is what you're looking for PET braided sleeving It's what I would have used if I'd had access to it at the time I was re-wiring my bars.

Same here, that looks like good stuff. I just went with black, split electrical wire loom from Autozone. Tried the chrome stuff, but it was a little too visible. Unfortuantely, you only get one shot at covering the wires as they exit the bars...

Looks pretty good, but it I'm after something to add without removing all the wiring to insert in a sleeve. I have installed an Indicator Relocator kit from NewSpeedmaster and just need to re-cover the wiring.
The same site also has Spiral Wrap which could be the trick, but the sizes look too big.

You could also get some heat shrink electrical tape. Its good stuff. It is kind of ruberized. You wrap it on then use a blow dryer or something and it shrinks nice and neat around the wires.
