Hi; I got a speedmaster in mulberry red a few weeks ago and I love it! Got to ride it home in thunderstorm watching the forked lightening and i don't think it has been dry since!!!! Looking forward to some dry weather! this is my third attempt to get on here, first just wouldn't spell right the 2nd got eaten buy the computer ( must remember to feed it next time! ). Have just finished nights and now getting rapidly drunk; but now on holiday for a week and looking forward to speending most of it on my bike!!!

Welcome! I have the same bike only mine is 2006 and it's great. One warning however-you will meet a LOT of people on that bike. I rode into the Hill Country today and stopped twice. Both times guys came up and talked about my bike -one had a Hondat ST and the other Kawasaki 1600. Of course they had both owned Triumphs in their younger days. These bikes really get noticed.

Thanks for all the welcomes. Yes do live near browns lane arsenalfan. It's about 5 - 10 minute ride.Why is your all time favourite factory? Love my bike it is a lot more comfortable than my monster was.

In 1928 Sir William Lions moved his Jaguar Motorcar Company from Blackpool to a new factory at Browns Lane in Coventry. Sadly in 2004 the bulk of car production moved to another factory. Now i think the adminastrative offices are still there and part of the old factory. But i dont think any cars are built there anymore.
I am a die hard Jaguar fan, absolutely adore the marquee. Here is a you tube link to a short video on what is, in my opinion one of the finest motorcars of all time.

I think the administerative is dwindling at browns lane now to. The car industry has taken a huge nose dive recently which is a really shame as it is a huge part of coventry's history. Oh well here's to progress.
