If so......... is it strong enough as a sissy bar?
Can K-Bags be installed with it on?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Welcome to the forum.

They have been around a long time. I see not one reason why they would not hold up. I don't have em, have tourmaster but it looks good.

I don't know what K bags are but somebody here will.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

I have the Ventura System. I have the short rack and the tall rack for the pack. I had some lugs welded onto the “L” brackets and re chromed them so I could fit on my Easy Brackets to mount my bags for longer trips. When I am by myself I put the rack on backwards and have the pack closer to me. When I have a pillion I put the Tour seat of and run it normally. I don’t run with it all the time. I don’t think it is a strong full blown sissy bar strength but the Mrs says she rests against from time to time.

John, this probably doesn't answer you question as such but just for your info, I do use the Ventura Pack but it is held in place by the Corbin Backrest. For me, when I didn't have the Corbin and was using the Ventura rack, I found the thing to be just plain ugly when it didn't have the bag on it. Also imo I don't think the rack could be relied on 100% as a backrest but this of course will be determined by many factors. Anyway here's a photo for you just of the Ventura Bag which by the way with the Hepco and Becker side bags is just a fantastic luggage system, for me anyway.

Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.
