That's something I'd like to see. Zippo is a real American icon.
Ask when they're coming out with a Triumph lighter.

I'll do that. Check out some of their lighters up for auction.

I wish Triumph used real Zippos.

How was the factory tour?

Soren,

The factory tour wasn't actually a factory tour, disappointing! It was actually a little museum and store. Had some pretty neat stuff though. Forgot all about it but I have a zippo from a navy ship that was decomissioned that may be worth something someday. Probably not in my lifetime but I'll pass it on.

The ride was EXCELLENT, riding through the Allegheny National Forest and Kinzua Dam area was GREAT. Saw only one Triumph, a Sprint. I bet he had loads of fun zipping around. Got a lot of comments on the bike, I was with 2 Harley riders and a Honda rider. Unbelievable to me their bikes weren't even noticed.

One stop was at a tavern called Don't Know Tavern, in a wooded area. I like the taverns that you can party outside, and I don't mean just a patio.

We used to have a bar called Peninsula Inn (PI), no not Phillipine Islands , DJ on the beach and you could drink on the beach, really good time. Unfortunately, it was tore down for some Condominiums. (And they call that progress)

The worse part of it was the draft bear was Coor's Light. I bought 2 wooden chips to start, and only used one. Food was decent though.

The run is for kids with cancer, when we took off they said there were over 600 bikes with 900 total people. Not huge but decent. Kinda what I like.

All in all it was a good time, will do it next year.

Rick
