hi gas going in ? gas going in after i shut off pecock? do you run the gas out when you shut off pecock? oil is higher in the window why???? what up i put on about 500 miles from last change bill. thanks ride hard die free

was it high the first time you looked or was it OK a few times them high all of a sudden? Some guys put a full 4 quarts in and thats too much actually.

it was ok for a long time.the last 2 or 3 time i started my bike it backfires but runs great

Open your oil fill cap and smell inside. Smell like gas?

You can remove some oil by cracking the drain plug and let some out. Who changed your oil last time?

There is no need to run the gas out of the line when you turn off the petcock. It's not a 2-stroke, and as long as the petcock is "off" you wont spill gas out the overflow in case it tips while it's parked. The oil level in the sight glass is VERY easy to misread.....be sure the bike is perfectly level (which is nearly impossible to do yourself, or also if your assistant has been consuming too many malt barley pops) At any rate....make sure the bike is level. If you have some doubts, change the oil and filter and add only 3.8 US quarts. (remeber to fill the filter and lube the filter seal) Ride Safe! Scott
