I ordered a set of Hella Round Projector Fog lamps (blue lens) and plan to mount them under the front forks. I got the idea from Ryan after riding up and back to the GA Rally. I plan to use the Accessory Light Connection (6 pin connector used for the Triumph Light Bar) using pins 1 (12V from Fuse 1) and pin 6 (Headlight ground). Just wondering if anyone else used the Accessory Light connection for their after market lights?

I did. See my pics in my gallery. Important: there have been some mis-wired Triumph accessory light harnesses sold. The problem is the wiring of the relay connector. Below is from an earlier post that I posted.

No-relay is not included. You can get the relay from Radio Shack or an auto parts place. Be sure the Triumph harness connector for the relay is wired correctly-mine was not. Below is proper wiring:

Note: Blue/White Wire on right is only spade that is not parallel to side of plug and is for the Load (lights) and is pin #30.

Yes, the Triumph driving light wiring harness works great. Just in case you need it, here is the part number A9930037.

Thanks for the info guys. The lights that I am getting come with a plug in wire harness, LED switch, relay and fuse. Not sure I will need the Triumph driving light wiring harness, but I will find out soon.

The only reason I got the wiring harness is because of the connector, so I would not have to slice and splice the existing wiring.

I finished installing the lights. I ended up only using one pin from the pre-wired connector (pin 2, 12volts when ignition is on) for the relay power. I used the switch that came with the light kit and installed it just above the 12volt power adapter plug at the rear engine mount. If you look at the mount there is a square opening just above the small round hole (where my power adapter is installed). The switch that came with the lights just fits in the square opening. The lights are just a bit bigger than the opening between the forks, so I mounted them so they are just in front of the forks. All I need to do now is adjust each light.

Installed lights.

Light switch that controls the relay, which provides power to the lights. Notice the power adapter below the switch.

Very cool, nice job on the switch, too.
