This guy was skulking around Nelson during the Raid, and we caught up with him on the way home in Creston. The rider was as old and crusty (and cool!) as the bike: This thing sounded SWEET! I wish my buddy would get his '75 running.

Just got back from the National Norton Rally...well, I'm not all the way back home, I'm posting from Dwight's in Prescott. You wouldn't believe the Nortons that were there. Must have been somewhere bewteen 100-125 of them. I even got to hear a Norton Manx at full tilt during the World's Fastest Parade, but that's a story for another day.

You have to love a scoot that's really been ridden, I'll bet there's a real character that occupies that saddle.

The Dog33, Were they an Atlas model 650cc upright twin in a slimline featherbed frame.I think they were superceded by by the C15. If I remember correctly the tanks were very similar to the Mercury. But that was a long time ago and the ole memory is not the best Hoffo

it was the 750cc Atlas engine in the light scrambler frame similar to the Ranger. Was supposed to be an off road bike like the TR6 Triumph but let me tell you it took a brave man to hang onto one on a trail!
