Well, it's only a few weeks shy of the one year aniversary of when I bought my triumph. She still has no name, and I'm not sure if she ever will get one.

I was wondering how many other people have bestowed their english beauties with a name, and what that name is.

I'm a couple of days of my 2nd anniversary of getting the first one.

The 03 is called Florence. Even to members of the family.
Since then, courtesy bikes have had names. The Speedy was Dougal, the Thruxton Zebidee (it springs off at the lights). They use those names at the dealer too. Well not Dougal, they sold him about 6 months ago. Don't why she got called Florence, it just stuck.

However the 06 is called Arthur. There was another name in the frame, but it kinda fits. It's also the name of a guy I trained at work with. I got the 06 as he and his family moved away. He doesn't know I named my bike after him... He'd think I was bonkers....but then he knew that years ago.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Mine is called 'Gordon'. I bought it with the proceeds of a tax refund so named it after our illustrious Chancellor of the Exchequer. It makes a nice change for 'him' to carry me for a change!

It took me more than 5 years to come up with a name that fits the bike. "Serenity"....

My Grandpa collected antique cars and his and my favorite was his 1928 British racing green and silver Bentley. When I saw my bike for the first time, it was exactly what I was look for, so "Bentley" just seemed a natural choice.

Once again, I submit that the name I have given my beloved Speedmaster is 'Triumph.' Named for the famous smart alecky comic dog on Leno, or Letterman, or whoever.

Just "the bike". Never really felt like it needed a name, and one's never really come up. Hmmm. I'll have to think about that, maybe it needs one now after the 904 kit?

That's my bike's name: Kathie.
