Does anyone have one of these and is it worth the 600 American drinking dollars they're asking? I mean c'mon, 6 Ben Franklins? I really like the idea of owning one, especially since I'm riding a British bike. If it's so "bullet-proof, I guess that might make the difference between an open and closed casket!

I really like the looks of it too, looked it up and I don't think my 'round' noggen will fit well in the 'oval' shape they say it comes in..... Let me know if you find any more information about it.

If you're truly concerned about giving your head the best protection you can, check out the thread entitled "Scorpion Helmets" in this section. You will find you can probably save yourself about $500 and have a helmet that will provide you better protection.

Throb, I'm glad I started that thread! I would LOVE the union jack, but hte biggest Arai doesn't fit me... Wish some other manufacturers would jump on the bandwagon!!! Rather than all the gragons and what not, ya know?

For what it's worth, here's my theory ..

Being Arai, at that money, you're not just paying for a paint job. Usually it's a quality product.
Can you answer 'yes' to these 5 simple questions?:
Do you like the lid? Do you value your head over a $40 lid? Will the lid fit? Do you WAAANNT the lid? Most importantly, can you afford the lid?

Yes to all five? Then buy it and make us ALL feel bad by telling us how good it is ..
