Overtook and passed a guy on a Rocket yesterday on the freeway. It had bags and a windshield. Looked like the rider was trying to hump a Volkswagon. Sorry...it's just a ridiculous looking motorcycle IMHO.

I guarantee you if Harley had built the exact same bike it would be the subject of great scorn and laughter on this forum.

I hate to say it... but I can't disagree with you.

I don't generally disagree with anything that you have said, but if Harley had built that bike, it wouldn't be the fastest, most amazingly easy to ride bike that you have ever imagined. NO VRod or anything else can hang with it. Still ugly as sin though.

Some of you my laugh at it...but it is the only cruiser that I have ever ridden and been able to ride a wheelie. I rode the bike during the test ride promotion and even though it is not the bike for me it is none the less an AMAZING machine. Its looks take getting used to, but performance wise I would put it up against almost anything.

Just my opinion

I rode one at my dealer's demo days. Great bike- think I maybe even buy one in the future.
I would keep my Bonneville America. I don't think I could get used to not hearing the positive comments I get about my Bonneville America such as "what a beautiful motorcycle". I don't think anyone would say that about a Rocket III.
