I want to change my turninglights to smaller models and wonder if anybody has some nice ideas what to use??
Since I´m not an advanced mechanic I want something that is pretty easy to install both mechanical and electrical??
Please post photos if you have.

I got a set of turn signals off of a Thunderbird and relocated mine to the rear strut and front headlight bracket..a little drilling but if I can do it, be assured anyone can ! I did not go with "smaller" as for visibility issues to cagers but the Thunderbird indicators do look rather smart in my opinion and makes the bike look more streamlined

I purchased the small bullet lights from kuryakyn and the adapters also. Take a look in my gallery to see them. They were not that hard to install. It did require taking the forks off the bike to remove the big metal shrouds to install the mounting brackets on the forks. But I really like the look of the bike without those shrouds.

Not sure if you are more interested in the front or the rear turn signals, but here is what I did with the front ones on my Speedy.

Soren, are those turn signals on your mirror stems??? I never seen those before, infact I had to stare at the photo to try to find them. How bright are they and who makes them??

Yes, those are the turn signals on the mirror stems. They are LED light strips. I bought them from Custom Dynamics. They are just as bright (maybe a little bit more) than the stock turn signals. I bought four of the 20 LED strips (item # 4014-20). So, I have two on each stem (one pointing forward and one to the side).

They come with double sided tape, so I was able to just stick them on. I also picked up some connectors from an electricl shop, so I could just plug them into the stock connectors for the turn signals (I hate slicing and dicing incase I ever want to easily go back to stock).

It is kinda funny, because even in person, I have had a couple people ask where the turn signals are. But when you use them, you definitley know where they are. Just kind of invisible until you use them.

Did you have add a load equalizer? Again, they're just so way cool...

Soren,
I´m interested both of front and rear turn signals.
Are you using these as rear signals also?

I am using an LED flasher from SuperBright.

My rear signals are still stock. I have not decided what I want to do with those yet or if I am going to change them.

I'm using the Kuryaken silver bullets front and back, got the pack used for the HD Softail, comes with all the mounting gear. There are two sizes...go the smallest set. A little fiddling with the wiring and away she went

...yes, that is a single seat...no, I will not put the other seat on...yes, I am selfish...yes, you should buy your own bike
