I added Radiance 35 bulb amber LED turn signals and Radiance 35 bulb LED running and stop lights to my hard bags. I added in line plugs so they easily disconnect if I remove the bags.

The regular taillight is high intensity and flashes. The regular turn signals are high intensity. I have a Back-Off unit but decided not to hook the LED’s and stop light together to eliminate a single point of failure. I might still do it someday.

The adhesive tape on the LED's didn’t hold on the compound surfaces so I had to add elegant tie wraps. Well, it looks better than duct tape.

I can lose one blinker and one taillight /stoplight and still be visible from the rear. After riding in the rain we’ve had lately with it’s low visibility, I believe I am getting more recognition from the cages behind me. Of course, no amount of additional lights will prevent some rear enders.

Some people won’t like the aesthetics of the lights, but I ride for safety and pleasure not image.

Yeah, the police wouldn't let me mount a light bar on my helmet.

Redbike, the back off unit, is this what is required to run LED's, if so can you give me some more info, as I have put a LED number plate light on my bike and it flashes like a disco light?

My Back-Off unit has never been hooked-up but it is the model that will work with both LED's and regular bulbs. They have different models for different setups. Check their web site for details.

My tail-light bulb itself flashes 6 times. If I replaced that bulb with a regular bulb and hooked the Back-Off to the brake lights, the LED's and the tail-light would flash in unison.

If one of my turn regular signal bulbs burned out, the LED units would flash very quickly becuase they depend on the load that the bulb puts on the system to flash at normal intervals.

If you have installed LED's and they are flashing very quickly, you may need a resistor in line. Check with the manufacturer of your unit.

Hope this helps.
