I have to take the pillion off to install the panniers? Anyone have the instructions for proper installation of the panniers?
He was fun while he lasted.

Wow, that's a wide open question. What kind of panniers? Do you have bag supports or "over the fender" style? I can help if you want to ride up here with your stuff (Williamsport). On vacation the next two weeks, hanging arund the house on Wk 1.

Sorry for the incomplete info. Standard Triumph fabric panniers. The metal frames are already installed, I just need to mount the panniers.
Love to ride up, but at the moment I am fully leashed.

Gotcha. I've never seen the Triumph fabric panniers, so can't say how they install. I "hard-mounted" my Saddleman bags to my rails. Stainless hardware and a fender washer on each side of the bag. I could ride down to you one evening if you need some help, just give me a yell.

yes if they are throw over than the seat needs to come off, one bolt no big deal, and the brackets are pretty self explainatory when you hold them up to the bike

Get you a knurled pillion seat bolt- easier . Notice where your pannier crossover connector goes over the fender - mark it and judiciously place black electrical tape as a protective barrier - will save fender from lots of abrasion from the crossover strap , can be peeled off later .
