Bass Guitar... Great part time paying hobby. Pays for TBA parts and accessories...

BTW my buddy on my left was the lead guitar player for David Allen Coe in the 80s and toured the world.

Best at DJing Benny...for those of you who don't think of turntablism as playing an instrument, just try beat matching or beat juggling. If you're still not convinced, and my musical skills need validation...I still play guitar, bass, drums, piano, banjo, mandolin, and harmonica. Sorry to get defensive, but REAL musicians normally hate DJ's hahahaha

I spend a lot of time defending aspects of music that are mainly rhythmic is being "music". Ya know how some people are all "rap isn't real music", to which I reply "just because it isn't 'singing' doesn't mean it's not musical. There are a lot of drum ensembles that would disagree with you..."

I saw a bunch on telly hooting like monkeys and banging on motorcycle parts with sticks. Bet I could do that pretty well.

Reckon I've got the best home studio setup ever? Nowt like blowing your own trumpet, or baritone for that matter! Space is limited tho...Think it would work quite well if it wasn't for the neighbours...

Good mate of mine and a great bass player. Putting down a track on his recently purchased Geddy Lee signature. In fact talking of bass players he's probably one of the best, possibly not quite Geddy Lee but I wouldn't want to tell him that...

I'm not the best at playing anything. Except maybe the fool...

But can play flute, piccolo, clarinet (very badly) tenor sax (badly) and have 6 different sizes of recorder. Oh and a bass occarina.

Perhaps all that lot is why I'm not the best at them.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Well according to the Judges at the a recent North East Shrine convention....I have (I'm the director) the best band in the North East and I play the Chinese Suona (musette or snake charmers horn) well enough to win a first place trophy with my dumbek playing partner for the Duets competition.

but it's a pretty obscure instrument and not likely to be finding it's way onto any pop albums soon

Love the sound of the flute, my sister plays it very well. Don't tend to hear much of the flute these days tho...it's a shame. Don't think I've heard much the bass occarina tho, is it like the sound of the didgeridoo? I Like didgeridoos, they're something else...

A bunch of chute roosters.
I'm the one on the right with Johnny the redbone.

Strings, acoustic, mostly guitar.
And yes, I am the best.
The best crosspicker in Washington township!

An F and a Bd went into a bar.
The bartender said "We don't serve Bds in here".
So, they went home and had a fifth between them.

Difference between a banjo and a lawnmower -
You can tune a lawnmower.

Perfect pitch -
When you toss the banjo in the dumpster and it lands on top of the harmonica.

Cool pic Bill . You and the guys still gigging?

Played semi-pro for a few years when I was younger but eventually it became a bit much with work and family commitments so now just play for fun, the odd pub/ reunion gig here and there.
Currently working on recording an album that we're hoping to self market over the internet in the near future, just to see what happens with it really...

Two of the five (the two on the left) still gig together (semi-pro).
I'm like you, it got to be a bit much.
Just special occasions now.
