BLASPHEMY!!!
I was weaned on Iron City. Back when it still came in Steel Cans with the pictures of the Steelers on them. Now take it back or I'm coming to CT and making you drink a six pack of PBR - now THAT is rotten beer! (of course we drank it when it was on sale... Hey, we were poor!)
Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should just get used to that fact and relax

I'm thinking it must be one I wouldn't drink even if there was no other beer. I haven't found that one yet. Then again, I AM an old sailor.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

But if you drink real beer then Iron City would definitely not be on the bottom of the list.
If you drink REAL beer you don't drink Iron City.
There are some very good pilseners out there: Pilsner Urquell, Stella Artios, Stiegel, Tyskie, the stuff in my garage, etc.. Don't think that just because these American marketing pukes call the standard US swill pilsner that that is what defines the pilsner style.

You guys aren't even close. Back in the 70's I drank a beer in Florida called Dunk's. We bought it because it was cheap. Man, it tasted like it was brewed with swamp water - completely skunked. It was so bad we stopped drinking it!
Close runerups - some Polish beer a couple of years ago, and Falstaff beer.

For me it's a tie between Dixie (real swill from the Mississippi) and Pearl (Texas trash). But then again maybe knowing which is the worst beer is really the worst...

And after the first six, who can tell?
I'm with you on Schmidt's. And anything with "lite" in it's name or "carbohydrates" on the label.

When i travel international I like to try local beers. The worst one I had was some crappy beer in Malaysia.
Close runner up would be "Home" beer from Newark, NJ

Grain Belt is awful. And I would vote Iron City was terrible also. I used to drink PBR before PBR was cool again.

^^^^^ Good call
I have only used Cranberry Lambic to marinate meat. The beer and the acidic cranberries work well, especially for pot roast.

I can imagine. Sam draft beer is one of my favorites and I frequent a few restaurants because they offer the draft. Not a huge fan of the bottled beer, but hate most of their weird seasonal flavors, particularly those that are fruity. I guess they sell them.

Does "Hamm's" still brew beer? Back in my early 20's that was the cheapest stuff around. $5.XX/case or something ridiculous. We took 20 cases to the beach one year (four families)because the guys all wanted "Hamm's Heaavy Hitter" t-shirts they were offering with multiple case prices. Took one van just for the beer! (ah, youth....)
