After far too many years of hating what I do for a living, I turned in my notice today.
Liberating ? yeah... good thing? bad thing? only time will tell I suppose.
New job? Tech at my local Triumph dealer.. Dream job? well yeah.. but then again... only time will tell, but it is a step in the right direction.

Holy crap!! That's great Chy. I hope the transition goes well for you!

Are you going to the Triumph tech school soon?

Congratulations Chy!!! I admire people who go for their dream jobs. And the folks there seem really nice.

ps: Does this mean you can get me a discount on a Rocket III Classic?

That sounds very cool...Have fun with it. You seem like that's something you'll be very good at, and I'm sure you'll bring a "willing to help" attitude that (IMO) seems to be missing at some dealerships. Good luck!

Even my children give me American lessons each night.

Congrats Chy. We expect you to grill the GM and owner of the shop now on upcoming Triumph models, especially that 1500cc cruiser everybody here wants info on.

Thats quite a comute from Dahlonega Ga each day.

Looking at my map, maybe they should change their name to Triumph of A Little Bit North of Central Georgia.

Allowing for the fact that i consider Atlanta as the Center of Georgia.

Ummm, Hello Sir, might I schedule my bike for a 30,000 mile checkup? Yes, I DO realize that I have to ride 900 miles for this service, but...

Congrats Man!!

So, this also means you can use your new inside connections to put to rest the whole middleweight cruiser rumor mill, right?

Chy,

Sounds like it will be a very interesting change. I assume you won't be working on just BAs or SMs, but the whole Triumph line, which will make it even more interesting.
