Is there anyone out there that makes a removable pad that can dovetail with the narrow neck of a gunfighter tail for a little more passenger comfort. something to attach when needed and arch over the tail. I'd love to maintain the look of the gunfighter seat and throw a pad on only when needed

only way to do somehting like that is totally custom, and event hen sounds like you are looking for a lot

Jut get your self the touring seat. Takes about 30 seconds to swap seats for when you want to set-up for solo.
