What kind of screwdriver is needed to take off the tank badges? Looks like a star driver but it has a nipple in the middle..... ???

It's a security screw, You can buy the bit for it at Sears. Not sure of the size but I bought the whole set for @$29.

Anti-theft torx screws. You can buy a small set that will work on the badges for less then 10 bucks at Auto Zone.

It's a T25 Security Torx screw. You can buy a bit at your local Tru-Value for about $2. THe bit can be used with a 1/4" driver or socket.

I got a T25 security driver (not just a bit) at the local Ace I think, maybe True Value, I forget. Got a blue handle, and cost maybe 3 bucks? I like it cause I just grab it and go, no messing around with finding bits, etc. I like to take the badges off when I wax the bike and clean the rubber gasket then too.
