I know some people here use this oil and wanted to give it a try but wanted to know which one to buy. The white jug says for gas engines and the Blue Jug says for Diesel which one do I want to try?? Thanks

Ice, I use the blue jug. This does not have the friction additives that affect our wet clutches.

Thanks Tony,
I was concerned because it said for Diesel engines. So the Blue Jug is the one.
Thanks

I used to use this oil in my metric cruiser. The BLUE jug.
It performed fine.
I might use it in the new sm.

I use the Blue jug - the SYNTHETIC Rotella-T.
The new Rotella Triple Protection would be okay, but it is NOT synthetic. It will not hurt the wet clutch, and the additive package may even be better than the Synthetic version. The viscocity may be closer to what Triumph says use, also. (15w-40, vs the 5w-40 of the Synthetic version)
You can't go wrong as long as you change at reasonable intervals.

All Rotella oil availabe here in the states is primarily intended for heavy duty equipment - trucks, tractors, (diesel or otherwise). The fact that it is good for these applications makes it suitable for use in motorcycles with wet clutches. No friction modifyers that the "energy efficient" car oils have. It is what you are looking for.
