Our bars are 1" I thought. Do you need to get bigger risers/mounts or am I mistaken?

I got the 129 T bar 8" pullback. The bars reduce to 1" where you fit the handgrips etc. The guy was really good to deal with and set it up so it would fit my Speedy. A really good product and good chrome. I had to extend my brake line and stuff. I got these bars because of an old sholder injury and was sufering with the stock set up. With the handgrips up and back a bit its much better. Mine cost $250 nz.

With my 1 1/4" bars the only problem I had was the brake resevoire hitting, I still managed to do up the clamp but not ideal with a gap at the bottom, I need to buy a grinder to go in an electric drill and remove some material from the resevoire so it can snugg up in, if that don't work i'll have to grind a bit off my bars, and i'm not too keen on doing that...

There's a pic in my gallery... Stock SM cables are very tight at either lock but I will get some America cables when they wear out... I got black powder coated ones and they cost $250 NZD... I really like the new riding position and my next project is to move my pegs in front of the pipes, at 6'2" I'd like to stretch out a bit...

Yup. I took a grinder to mine. Yet to paint over the grind. But its fitting well. I got a new brake line made up locally. They also do cables. I needed about 5" longer.

Thanks, my MC reservoir also hit with my HD Heritage bars. I was afraid to grind off a bit, but will give it a shot.
