Fisrt day of vacation, a beer in my hand and bike packed for a looong trip...I be leaving as soon as I wake up(And are sober) tomorrows..I´ll be singing in my helmet thats for sure.

I have been on vacation since 5 o'clock Saturday evening (06/30), and would have done some riding if not for the weather man.

It did not rain Sunday as I recall, but was supposed to rain all day. Monday it started before dawn and rained until noonish, but I drove to my folks' place (Livingston, Tx) and helped my Dad frame a garage for his motor home, then returned yesterday. No rain in Livingston, or here either yesterday all day, despite an 80% chance from the "experts". Started to take a late night ride over to Pasadena last night, but some rain began moving in off the coast about that time, and then it has rained here all day today until about an hour ago. With no good destination in mind, I am afraid there are too many drunks on the road this evening to take a chance.
