Hey fellow riders...Quck Question and your opinion...
Yesterday I run dyno test on my 07 SM, and somehow owner of the shop was arround, and he told me that if we put sniffers behind catalic convertor and reducer, sniffer will not read correctly, he said the only way to get correct reading is if I run on header pipes (right before the catalic converter and reducer)than I will be able to get correct results,
My questions to you is...what do you think about this theory...Owner is nice guy (he has couple of oldies triumph) and he told we can run it but you will not get correct reading, and he suggest old school, drive and look your plugs...even he himself took my beauty for ride and he told me that I am very close to the right setting, just adjust and balance carbs and I will be good to go...
thank you guys

Sash

A catalytic converter converts unburned fuel to (mostly) carbon dioxide and water vapor. So if you're trying to get a fuel mixture analysis with cats installed, it won't be accurate.
