Actually more of a buzz. At 5k and above my speedy is buzzy.
I pulled the plugs and they seem alright, but the vibration is defiantly getting worse. I don't remeber it being like this before it got rebuilt.
I can say confidently that the problem is linked to RPM rather than speed. If I just run up to the redline acclerating there is little to no buzz, but if I hold it above 5k she is buzzing. And The buzzing is very pronounced in the front pegs (almost putting my feet to sleep), but is also felt in the bars and the tank is vibrating also.

Any ideas?

tires wearing funny? wheels out of balance? maybe bad wheel bearings? warped rotors? just to give you a few ideas. you said if you run it up to redline there is no buzz correct? is it above 5k in any gear?

There is no buzz if I run it straight up and then let off. But if I keep the revs up than I get the buzz.
I just had a front tire replaced under warranty, but than I was getting a wobble type vibration from the front wheel. This is defiantly tied to the motor. And it does seem to be in most of the gears. It was in 2nd coming back to work. I have a hard time holding it at 6k rpm in 4 and 5th mainly due to the efforts of local law enforcement.

Here's one from out in left field.
Re-torque the motor mounts?

Check for loose engine mounts. If they are OK, check the cam chain tensioner.

I'm thinking its a cam chain issue. Its headed back to the dealer. Cause that is the fault of the tech who put it back together.

Is the cam chain self adjusting or is that tech full of it?

There is an automatic adjuster, has to be re-set if removed.
