Just got back from a sneak. Cool FX. A fun movie (toy commercial) but a little long, about two and a half hours.

Thank you corporate money grabbers for ruining yet another aspect of my childhood. What is next on the list for destroying the whole premise behind the original story?

Last night I saw all the little nerds (my people) lining up for the pre-opening day showings of the Transformers as I was leaving the Fantastic Four sequel (I'm a little behind on my nerd movie viewing), which wasn't nearly as bad as everyone said.
On the other hand Ratatouille was excellent.

As long as it was better than the Original Fantastic 4. I was very unimpressed by that movie.
1408 wasn't very good either.

I would go out on a limb (and I did) and say that not only is it better than the first FF, it's better than Spiderman 3.

I am a huge Spiderman fan. It has been my favorite comic forever. I was sorely disappointed in Spiderman 3.
Don't get me wrong, the Sandman and Venom were awesome, but the love story and Peter Parker in Emo mode were just too much.
I will see FF4 2 just because I want to see the Silver Surfer effects.

I was disapointed in Spiderman 3 as well, but I think emo Spidey was my favorite part. COuldn't stop laughing.
Spiderman 2 is the only one I'd say was a good movie.
Transformers tonight!

I agree, emo Spidey is very funny. The problem is I didn't go to the movie to laugh. Spidey is supposed to be action, not Comedy. That's why I had a problem with it. It's also why some people liked that part. I've never been a huge fan of Comedies.

One thing that all the spiderman movies missed, where they could've put in comedy faithful to the characters, were the wisecracks and taunts he makes when fighting someone. The dance routine was so out of place it was painful to watch.

Well you just got bad things to say about everything dont 'ya mister candy pants! I thought the original and the sequal of Fantastic Four were both about as good as they probebly could have been, and 1408 was one of Stephen King's best in years. That's not saying much, since his movies have sucked since the days of Christine....maybe the Tommyknockers ":)

Candy Pants? Is this elementary school?
Besides,I have good things to say about other movies, just not FF4, Spiderman 3 or 1408. 300, the first two Spidey's, all three X-men, the resident evils, All good to great movies.
