Last week Nilla made the step up from Honda to Triumph. After she first rode my bike a long time ago there was not really any question about it just a matter of when, we fund the right one last week a 05 America in perfect condition and for the right money. Yesterday she took the first ride out on her new bike so here are some pic´s of a new proud America owner! it´s mine! Nice day for the first ride on the new America /Johann

Congratulations on the new bike. Kalous dromous! as we say in these parts ("good roads" - roughly meaning "may it travel far and well!").

You have a wise woman there Goose. Can't vouch for her choice in men, but her bike tastes are excellent.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Very nice. Won't be long before she adds enough chrome to out-do your steed. Any chance of a better look at the graphic on your front fender?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

Whee! I love the picture where Nilla has her hand lovingly placed on the tank.

" Johann , come quick , I felt her kick , see , yes , just put your hand right here , can you feel it , too , it's wonderful " ! At that moment she also realized that her own heart was pulsing in perfect harmony with her Bonnie , they were to become one , the wind brushed back her golden hair , the verdant leaves rustled overhead in gentle confirmation , and....... I gotta stop ,.. start over again in Tales From a Swedish Road . ( two bikes , two hearts , one spirit )

That's awesome that a couple like that can ride the same bikes , it's romantic , too. I bought my bride a 1200 Sportster low so we can ride together , now she says she kinda wished it was an America like mine . Now she tells me , I could have saved 3,000.00 . I wonder how many more husband / wife dual America owners are out there ? Ian and Wendy , yes .

Congratulations to Nilla! What a feeling! Raynea drives our bike as good as I do, but she will not drive alone. Her left knee is trash and she is too insecure about it to ride by herself. I don't know why she thinks I can help from the rear seat? I am just thankful that you guys get to share that experience together on your own motorcicles. Don't get me wrong, I love having my fabulous bride with me, but to see her riding beside me would be a great thrill for me. (is there a side car in my future? Oh No!)
Ride Safe,
Dennis

Wade,
We bought the bike from a couple where he had a HD softtail and she the TBA and the Triumph was just to big for her, she is only 154cm tall...
Guess what she bougth instead? yes, a 1200 Sportster low but she was not happy to part with the Triumph but hoped that she would feel more comfortable when able to reach the ground with both feet´s sitting on the bike
Btw. Liked your "Tale from a Swedish Road"
