Hey all...

Jenny and I are heading to Montreal this summer and decided we are probably going to need to communicate.

Is anyone using comm links and what are you using? Cost is an issue, but so is the effectiveness of the device.

Who's using a cb and who uses a simple point to point device?

Thanks for the help...

BB

Chatterbox. For helmet-to-helmet or bike-to-bike. But don't believe the 2 mile range for the X2. Maybe half to 1 on a good day. Very good for consolidating mp3/cel phone/passenger intercom as well as bike-to-bike. I was using an X2 and a friend was using a low end FRS 90. The hi end aren't worth the $. The low end will do the job. The VOX works below 30 mph, but above that, the push to talk button is the way to go. Was surprised at how well the helmet speakers worked, even in my noisy helmet.

Hubby and I use communicators on snowmobiles, but tried them on bikes and I could not hear well with them. But with a full face the chatterbox worked great. May even find a good deal on ebay
