I am looking for a set of handlebars that are one piece with risers that sit in about the same place (I don`t want to modify the cables) for my 2003 speedy. Can anybody point me in the right direction.

Carlini T bars if you don't mind drilling your tree out to 1/2" to accomodate the fasteners.

That or make or buy the adapters to adapt the 1/2" to the 10mm we have.

Question:
It seems that the only T bars I hear about in relation to BA/SM are Carlini.
Why is that?

They're the only ones I have experience with
Full disclosure: I took them off after I got the bike

I don't know why you only hear about those. There are quite a few that will work since the Hardley spacing is same as ours.

Probably because it's just usually cheaper to put on some risers instead of t-bars. I think I've only see Baron and Carlini bars in these forums.

If they're the same as Carlinis, then the grip area is still an inch

With my 1 1/4" bars the only problem I had was the brake resevoire hitting, I still managed to do up the clamp but not ideal with a gap at the bottom, I need to buy a grinder to go in an electric drill and remove some material from the resevoire so it can snugg up in, if that don't work i'll have to grind a bit off my bars, and i'm not too keen on doing that...

I believe Roadtrip found out that we need 10mm, not 12mm.
