Check this out. Google maps has a new feature...no, it's not a software glitch.

You can now drag your route to a different route if you don't like the one Google automatically provides. And you know how we hate to take the most direct route on slabs.

I like it. Makes finding the scenic route a lot easier.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

great feature. I know there are many here that don't like or even have a close to hate for MS, but MS streets and trips has been set up like that for a long time. I like being able to put in my starting and ending points, then make the trip the way I want it

AWESOME!! It's about time!!

I have always been too cheap to buy any mappping software and have relied on the internet for mapping. I usually would have to do several maps to get a route I wanted and it still didn't usually come out right.

Jack, I am also too cheap and I have been looking for this for a LONG time!! I noticed it just the other day by accident. I used to have to pick internediate points along the way and map out my route piece by piece to get what I wanted.

Aren't you the guy who traded his TBA and bought a harley cruiser then made it into a road king then sold it because you needed the space for your monster truck magazines, fat porn, and piels beer cans?

You don't know how many times I have said those exact words myself.

I must be a nit-wit, can't figure out how to work that function.

I've used the Mapquest with multiple stops but you have to know town/address reference points. Dragging to a city would be quicker.

NITWIT UPDATE: I figured it out, awesome feature!
