If so you could be the proud owner of Dracula's castle BBC Article I think it funny that at the end of the article he says that "We would like the castle to remain a symbol of everything that is honorable and good in Romania." My history may be a little shakey but that was the home of Vald the Impailer who didn't get that name for being all that good or honorable
Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

Well the locals say Vlad Dracul or Vlad Tepis just got a lot of bad press, he's viewed as a hero and freedom fighter in Romania for holding back or at least delaying the Turkish invaision.
The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams

In the reading I've done on Vald, he impaled people (sticking spikes length wise through people) and displayed them on his land, it's rumored that he ate people and drank their blood, while in prison he impaled rodents. While he did his job of fighting against the turks I think there's a huge difference between fighting for freedom and killing and displaying your victims on your front lawn. There's still people who support Sadam or Idi Amin Dada, doesn't mean they were good guys.

Well just pointing out that you get a different view of history depending on where you look.

He also invited his Turk enemies over for dinner and when they wouldn't remove their turbans for dinner Vlad had them nailed to their heads!
