I saw these handlebars on the web Buckhorns Anyone have these? I am having a little back discomfort when on longer rides and was looking for something to bring the bars back a bit. Also thought about these: Risers Any suggestions or opinions before I order one or the other would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!

I got a very nice set of 4 1/2" risers with 1 1/2" pull back from Ebay. New in package and good quality. Cost me $30 , I wanted up and back too for the better riding position. I'm going to post pix of what I did but have been too lazy to take any.

I got some via J&P Cycles 3 or so years ago ($29.99). They look similar to what Brent's carrying. Only style difference might be my stock cables were on the "snug" side for a year, before I bought 4"-5" longer SS cables from Bellacorse. I also had to file a bit off the inside of the brake reservoir to get the R hand controls to line up correctly.
Given the hassle, I'd go newspeedmaster. It's a relatively easy swap, even for the mechanically disinclined. Be sure to keep the brake reservoir elevated.
Far as the bars go, I like them. Phil has buckhorns also.
Cheers,
jwh

I put on a set of HD Heritage mini-apes. Similar to the buckhorns, but the handgrips go straight (out to the left and right) verus turned down. $15 on Ebay, stock cables fit fine. Wire harness was snug, but I cut and extended to run them through the bars anyway. (pix taken before the rewire) Took a day or two to get used to them, now feels very natural. I wouldn't go back to the stock bars, these put my hands just about shoulder height. It does change the way I sit on the seat, again more comfortable for me and seems like I sit more upright with less pressure on my tail bone.

What are the dimensions of the mini ape hangers? I am looking at something but "mini ape hangers" means nothing to me! Cheers
