To all the new members: Please let us know where you are. When you ask for help, it could be just around the corner.
I promise you, if you list your location, no one here will come visit you - we are mostly a group of lone wolf riders, that love each other's company. We will not come visit you unless you ask. Great people here! (although i did have to go beat one guy up once - he's real nice now -just kidding).
This is like any other publicly accessable forum, when you list your email address, it is vulnerable so diguise it by adding something before thedomain like moe and I did. It works.

Ride Safe, Dennis Triumph, it's how I live and what I ride.

Or use a throwaway.
I must say though, the one I use here gets very little spam, and none that I can identify as coming from it being used on this site.

Agree, what's the harm in putting in your location? In five years, never met anyone through this site that I haven't got on with and what's more to the point have met some very fine folks and have been involved in a lot of rides and events that I would have missed out on otherwise.

Even something simple like mine, "Long Island". Could be ANYWHERE, and if I need to meet someone, we PM a meeting! No problems.

If anyone would like my address I'll give it to them, I think having a stalker hangout in my bushes would be fun for a while.

Diggita. We have an alarm in the house- thats right IN the house. 2 labs, 1 chow, 12 ga street sweeper w/00- buck and a couple other other "surprises". You get to guess which two- one rymes with "schlock" and "fine" metric something-or-another...

So bring 3 steaks for the dogs, and a 6-pack for me , and you might do all right!

All BS aside (not that any of that was blather) I'm in Ft Worth, Tejas. If your local, drop a dime and come on by...

2002 Bandit 1200/ GSXR cams/ 1277 BB Kit/ Holeshot header and can/ 38mm flatslides/ a good head/lotsa hp/lotsa tq- lots of rear tires...

like most others in this crazy world we are liveing in today, i was a little nervous about giving my location when i first joined. to date i have never been sorry, and i was a very early member to the original site. i have met some great guys here in the great state of Fla. because of this site. i dont think anyone has to worry about giveing an area where they live, i dont think its nessasery to give the exact cordinates of your home but a general area is possibly a wise thing because of the assistance you might find or the friendship you might find from someone in your area. nobody has ever come to my home without invite and nobody has ever ask anything of me that i wasnt ready to give. that seems to be the norm around here. we are just a bunch of like minded people that are willing to help each other in ways that sometimes you wouldnt get from someone you have known for yrs. so i think its a wise thing to at least give your general area. when you ask a question sometimes we can only guess at the answer because we might not know where to send you for help, or maybe somebody lives in your area that could guide you to a place that is just around the corner that you didnt know was there. i know its a scarry world but us Triumph riders dont seem to be any scarier than the next Triumph rider. not snobbish like some bmw riders i know and not hard core like some h.d. riders i know. mostly sensible people with the brains to go our own way hahahahahaha and belong to this family. every family has a nut case hideing in it somewhere so i am not saying we are all sane here hahahahha but for the most part, not a bad bunch.least ways i havent heard of any father rapers yet hahahahahahahaha

and in the bio section, maybe just a little about yourself, age, occupation, simple things. just so we know a little somethin about each other. i dont need to know, your married 6 times got 7 kids and 14 grandkinds or that your mother killed your father and is serveing a life sentence but just to know an age, even just a ballpark age, or an occupation, no matter how embarasing, something, anything would be nice. both, the location and a little bio info, have always been little issues with me, that people dont put some minor things in there is puzzleing. i question why not?? a quick note about yourself, why not??? i am 55 and am an a.c. tech. whats the harm in everybody knowing that?? there have been people on here that i have givein A.C. assistance to, be it long distance assistance but, info is free. anyway that just my $0.02 worth hahahahahaha

Well, let me try this out then. I'm new to the site, will have a new America or Speedmaster (still deciding). How many of you all are from the St. Louis Missouri Area? I was umpiring a tournament this weekend and saw a group of nice "sounding" bikes going on a ride in the morning and returning in the afternoon. (YES, I was ENVIOUS). I would love to go on a group ride some time when I get my bike.

You might want to start a fresh post with a title about riding in the St. Louis area. There's a good chance a lot of people aren't following this thread.

OK I'll bite, Name:- Roger, brand bloody new TBA 07, Bristol England, Want a drink? get me in the Crown, St. Nick's Market.
But you'd better like metal, cause that's what they serve with the (decent) beer (4500+ tracks on the jukebox, and they're proud of it), their food is good too! The beer is well kept. Recommended. I look forward to meeting some more Riders..

I'll hold you to that... I like the Crown. Mine's a Guinness!

Just can't get over the fact there's another member in Bristol.
And what colour is it?? The America that is...

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Pacific blue/ New england white, or at least that's what the docs say. Its one of the new season's, 865 lump, and far to much chrome.. I love it. Just ask at the bar, they'll point me out, the guy with the beard. I'll be there on the week end, after 21:00, and quite a lot during the week too. Sure, a guinness - no problem.
