I'll shut up about God. I'll limit my posts and replies to earthly things like death and bad relationships.
Please let me stay!!!

Why Skillet, I think you're fine considering you are in the middle of the Bible Belt and a very high "shine" area. I don't guess it's still $2 a jar.

That's where we're headed, unless we turn from our HD ways - LOL. Like the military, this is not a democracy. We must abide by the rules. We all know that military justice is to justice, what military music is to music.
Chaplain? I'll pray (wish, hope) any time you want me to. I do it anyway. But there are others here much more qualified than I. I was gonna mention names, but I don't want them marked.

The Shine in this area is extremely smooth, but it's about $8-$12 a quart now - we don't do liters, cuts into profits.
Funny you should mention moonshine. My dad was sent into the field when he was 16 to let his older brother know that supper was almost ready. His brother, Raymond was hunting rabbits (supposedly). Dad and his younger brother found Raymond dead under an oak tree. Raymond had gotten hold of some bad wildcat and died. He was 20 years old. My dad hated wildcat whisky from then on. Dad was elected sheriff in Lauderdale County (a dry county) in November 1958, and took office in January 1959. During 1959, he busted up 63 stills, but only arrested 4 bootleggers. Bootleggers were OK with him as long as they were selling beer, liquor that had Alabama tax already paid on it. Dad drank moderately, so I am sure was symathetic to drinkers in the county. I am pround of him, as he was appointed U.S. Marshal for North Alabama by JFK, at the recommendation of Bobby Kennedy. Bobby wanted him because he knew Dad would put an end to Bull Conner's reign in Birmingham. He also knew that Dad respect a man's integrity and would not let even a prisoner be put to shame. Great man, my dad, to bad I was too afraid of him to learn from him.

Wow,
No, he was US Marshal in '67. But I want the story anyway.
