Since the recent rash (get it, rash! ) of threads about butt burn and seats, I thought I would resurrect a subject brought to us a long time ago by either Derek or Soren (can't even remember if that's correct). Anyhoo, there is this wallet made from ripstop nylon spinnaker cloth and comes from a company called ALL-ETT. Holds everything you have in your wallet now but is considerably thinner. Here's a pic of the original version that I have (they have more varieties now): I bought one about two years ago, use it every day, and I can attest to the quality and strength. There is no wear and tear on it at all. I have 12 cards in it, all my registrations and insurance papers (truck, wife's car, bike, and trailer), money, and the sucker is less than 3/8" thick. There are times I forget it's there and while riding, there is no pressure from a wallet like I had before. An amazing product and only costs $19.95. Very happy with it and I highly recommend it! men do terrible-aweful-horrid-nasty things to their backs and posture by keeping their wallet in their back pocket and sitting on them....not that that stops me...and mine is 1-1/2" thick when closed up...so thinner would be better

Yeah, my chiropractor told me to make the change... it takes a bit of getting used to but cut down on my back problems quite a bit.

I could never get used to the front pocket deal. Believe, I tried.
That's why this was an ideal solution for me!

I'd love to try that Chy. I just don't seem to have room in the front for any more packages.

Front pocket use thwarts pickpockets when traipsing in crowds.
Another great reason to wear a jacket in summer: Carrying a wallet. That and a cell phone and a baseball cap!

I started carrying mine in my front pocket when I broke my leg in HS. I was sitting a LOT and it was more comfy. Then I went to France (yes France) when I was 16, and out teacher reccomended it for the pick pocket thing too. Doin it ever since. Sometimes it goes in a cargo pant pocket when I'm riding. Very cool wallet tho!

I got used to the front pocket wallet many many moons ago when I worked in downtown Denver (not that I was paranoid about pickpockets or anything). When I got around to buying a bike I was all set. I've tried various styles of FPWs, and all have their plusses and minuses, but they forced me to cut down on the amount of cruft I carry around.

If all of you would get with the times and modernize your wardrobe, you wouldn't have this problem. Your wallet would ride down around your knee

I've been using this wallet for two years now after seeing it in a bike magazine review section. By far the best wallet I've ever carried. I lost a few threads last year, but just resewed them myself. It has plenty of room for all my crap. Super thin, in fact so thin at first I kept reaching back to make sure it was still there!
You do need to keep it full of cards as empty sections tend to dump out their contents. Once you get used to that, you'll never carry anything else. My daughter laughed when she saw it, but when I showed it to her bike-riding boyfriend, he ordered one for himself!
I love the two pockets. I travel for work and was constantly mixing up/losing my receipts. No more. I put all work related receipts in the front pocket, my credit card receipts and cash in the other.
I keep two key cards in mine, plenty of room. I add some extra business cards to keep the pockets filled out, that is handy as well.
Plus about $15. Can you tell I love this wallet? <g> Don't leave home without it!

Don't get the big 8 x 15 inch Breadman wit da chain Harley man lookin ' wallet , it no look good with a Bonnie . 150 bucks will get you a Paul Smith wallet . Keep your cash in your FRONT pocket , if the needy boys try and work you over , and you be loosin' the fight , you can ball up like an armadillo and they can 't get your money . If you have Monkey Butt , they will also avoid you .

I have been carrying in my front pocket for years now. It just works better. When I was drivin across country I used to take it out of my back pocket and put it up on the dash every morning. And decided there has got to be a better way.

Thanks Phil. Ordered their new leather executive. My current wallet was over 1 1/2 inches thick. Needs a little cleaning out though. Thanks for posting.

I have one of the "mini" versions of the All-ett, and it's just as cool (and slim) as they say.
They don't seem to last as well as leather wallets, but they're so cheap, who cares? (Mind you, mine is like 2 yrs old and is just now starting to show real wear.)
And they are seriously paper thin when empty.

I've used something similar to this (click) for many years, and I've always kept it in my front pocket. The good: everything is in one place (keys, cards, cash, IDs), and it would be very hard for someone to get it out of my front pocket without the keys jangling. The bad: everything is in one place if I ever lost it (which hasn't happened, knock on wood and all that).

My All-Ett full, about 1/2" of slimness. Sit on that! <g>
