Got the bike smacked and the short of it is that the insurance company called it a write off.... went out to the dealer on Saturday to get my bags off of it and a few other parts with the intention of replacing them with stock bits. Man gotta tell you, I couldn't do it. It's banged up for sure but hardly what I considered totalled. Decided to do a bit of negotiating and I agreed to taking less, not too much less so I did alright, and keeping my bike. Now I have the fun part of sourcing parts... been pricing out "custom" parts from the catalogs and can do way better price wise than Triumph parts for sure... Anyway, one item desperately needed is a rear fender, Triumph thinks theirs is worth a little over five hundred bucks but I would prefer the one in the pic. Any ideas folks? That pic was originally posted by Brent so I pm'd him but he didn't know where it came from, thinking it is probably and HD fender... look familiar to anyone? I have seen similiar looking fenders in the catalog but since I won't get my bike back for a couple of weeks I can't even measure the width on the thing. I managed to score a gas tank for a couple of hundred bucks versus the over seven hundred Triumph wants, that's good.... it's got a couple of scratches but at least it's not smashed. I am going to end up having to repaint the tank anyway so why not do a fender as well. Let's see, since I am rambling, I would like to put a set of mini apes (12") on it, anyone got a recommendation as to what size cables and brake lines I need? I am sure I will come up with a bunch more questions once the rebuild begins... I am just hoping to have it back on the road before frost warnings.

I have Harley Heritage mini-apes, they're just about 12" rise. Stock cables fit with some re-routing. Wire harness is a bit tight, but I cut & extended to route thru the bars.

J&P used to have that fender might still have something close. I am sure Bills HD in Burwick , PA could get it for you he has everything you can imagine when it comes to Harley chances are he even has it on the shelf.

Hi, Talk to this guy about the fender. jani.polameri@polameri.com He can make anything out of sheet metal. Tanks, fenders. The one like in the picture. And he rides speedmaster. There´s another guy in UK who makes fiberglas fenders for speedmasters & americas. pete@pjglassfibre.fsbusiness.co.ukI have ordered from both of them. Very good work and nice service. Reasonable pricing.

Looks like either a Loboy or Street Sweeper fender. Try the usual places online like J&P or Jireh Cycles for price and wide selection. Just using a google search I came up with this link. Now an 8.25" fender MIGHT fit, but make sure you measure. Can't remember if our bikes take an 8 or 8.25 inch fender. Been a long time since I've had the rear fender off and measured between the mount bolt holes. You should be able to find something that's at least close to the bike in that picture for $150-300. Still would need nuts welded on the inside of the fender, and of course painted. If it was my project, I'd probably look into either different fender struts(something not as wide or thick as ours) or eliminating them altogether. Good luck, and let us know what you come up with.

Thats an idea on the struts maybe even incoreate some into a steel fender. Weld them in and blend to give it a no strut look.
