Headlight modulators

okiebob mentioned that he has installed a headlight modulator. I would like to know opinions on these, which ones are good, how to install, switch on and off, etc.


He was fun while he lasted.

Personally, I do not care for them. Yes, they definitley do their job and grab peoples attension, but it is almost a hypnotic effect.

The Kisan Pathfinder seems to be very popular, the easiest to install and least espensive. I do have their brake light modulator.

I have read about people getting tickets for using these, not only the article at the link above, but on other motorcycle forums. So even if you carry around a printout of the statute, it still might not prevent you from getting a ticket from some LEO who's ignorant of the law(funny how that's never a viable excuse for us citizens, but their use of it can cost us a day in court fighting the ticket).
