I need help removing my fork lowers. I did a search but couldn't find any info. I remember maybe seeing something about making a tool to hold the nut from the other side? I can't remember... Thanks!

Did that a couple of months ago. Get an air wrench. If they spin try tightening them up and then loosening again. They have some pretty tough lock tight on them. We also used a broom stick with a taper, about 10 degrees, tapped in. That helped some folks loosen theirs.
I'm looking for some replacement fork tubes for my spare America if you know of any.

Yup.
That's the distilled wisdom.

Thanks guys. A buddy of mine managed to get them out with an impact wrench last night.
